Finally measured my ]\/[onster managuense.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the concerns guys.
As posted in the health thread.

(By yesterday arvo he would roll to his right side and float to the top. It didn't look promising. So much that my spouse suggested euthanizing him. I told her "Not a chance. I am giving this guy every chance he has." It's like he knows he has to be straight so he has been wedging him self in an upright position amongst the timber in the tank. A smart fish and there seems to be improvement in his condition today:) He is a little less buoyant and seems to be swimming better. I haven't seen him roll this morning either so that's a good sign at least.:))

Will keep you updated as time goes and thanks again for your concerns;)

I agree, I can't see lifting a fish out of the water for a few seconds causing a swim bladder problem....

And damn, I want a Bordeaux!!!

maybe he was got stressed from it? What do you feed him?
His diet consists of Hikari Gold and Massivore as staple pellets(about 50-60% of his diet) suplemented with raw prawns/shrimp,f/w fish fillets, large earth worms. I try to keep it mixed up so he doesn't get a liking to any one thing.

nice jag,i hope that he will get better, keep us up to date.

:(I don't understand why you would pull a fish out of water to measure him? Maybe measure him while reloacating or if he had to come out. This was worthless stress you put on the fish. Now look at it... And for what? Just hold the tape up to the glass and get close to its actual size. What a shame if its more then just air.:(
