I finally learned how to take photos manually with my laptop. Quite a task, but here goes...
I had gotten a baby male platinum, and since have gotten a female to go with him.
Never seen platinum FH's before (It's just a name I came up with - but they ARE white, with the seen markings) Enjoy, and comment please. I'm curious what you think.

Currently around 3 inches - male is smaller white with black on head. (He was fully white 2 weeks ago)

In the second photo you can see the unidentified Leporinus you've seen me talking about.

In the fifth photo is a nice shot of the Leporinus moralesi that one of you helped me identify.

first off, I am very sorry to inform you that the name or term of Platinum has been labeled,

you could call your fish a platinum but it sure doesnt make it one, for here my friend is my Fish, THIS IS A PLATINUM>>>

and yes, i am glad that you are into Fh, and good luck with your project.

Call em whatever you want. I don't think you'll find platinum FH's labeled in any scientific writings of note lol. However they do look a lot like regular Red Devils but from the pics I cannot see how white they are. etither way I like the one with the black on his head. Pretty cool lookin fish.

As for Platinum - aren't Platinum supposed to be a clean white, not pearly like yours? Correct me if I'm wrong... Hmm a new name... OKAY- Here goes ... I'm going to call my pair GHOST FH'S! How's that. My own line called The Ghost. How do y'all like that? I'm open to suggestions!
Yes, they do look like red devils, but they are FH's - confirmed mutts - they were sold as "gold based" but they are... ahem... not, apparently. They look almost translucent.
Unusual critters, all of 'em. (FH's in general)

not as far as FH goes, does calling it a RED DRAGON ZZ make it a sleepy dragon thats all red? nope. those dont even look like fh to me, those look like midas or red devils or some kinda mix. 1 even almost look like a convict.

My photo skills may be limited, but they most definitely are FH's. No question. As for naming - if somebody gets to name their fish a Platinum, why can't I name mine Ghost FH's? Isn't that what people do? If that isn't the case, then would you say that they ARE Gold Based, which is what I bought them as? (And I do know the diff between FH's and Midas/RD's.)
Thanks for pointing out that one is a little like a convict - WAY COOL looking, if not strange. She'll be a very interesting fish to watch mature. Both will, actually.
