That's so awesome. I love caimen lizards. Have you considered setting up a ten gallon and just tossing some snails in there and just let them go at it?

There's two things that these pics do not show one the tiles on the floor of the enclosure & the chicken wire on the top inside to keep him away from getting burned! I would love to have a tristis,im not a fan on the crosses!

Awesome lizard! I had a bonding moment with a sub-adult in a shop last year. She wanted to come say hi and sit in my lap. Your's looks very good.
They're trying to ban all pythons, boas, and colubrids in VA. Yet they think nothing of pit vipers.... Apparently corn snakes are more dangerous than gaboon vipers.
