if you are only going to keep 1 pair a 20-30gallon will do if its only that pair and some dithers

i keep my pair in a 38 and it is perfect !!! a 55 would be to big for just one pair and a 20 would be kind of tight.

I keep my pair a 75 gal but they have company 2x clown pleco's 1 green phantom pleco 1 rubber nose pleco 1 spotted raphel cat and 1 fire mouth and they have about 50 free swiming fry and those are growing quickly.
