I'm thinking of setting up an actual pond that's atleast 10 feet long and 5 feet wide. Maybe 2+ feet deep and stocked with turtles and natives. Maybe a cement tank with a large glass insert.

Shouldn't you finish your 700-800 gallon plywood first?

Andrew, if I remember correctly you're just slightly younger than me. Can I ask what you plan to do with your tanks once you move out of your parents house? This is one reason that I never followed through with plans for any of my monster tanks because they would have to be shut down after your move or whatever... my suggestion is to keep your favorite fish and sell whatever else then do the giant tank plans when you have the capacity and funds of your own... just my 2¢. I had plans for a 150 gallon but I'm gonna wait until I atleast have my own apartment before I buy it now.... hope that this makes sense for you.

In other words, these tanks are temporary prisons till the fish and turtle dies. Does your dad/parents know they are paying for these big tanks in the future and that they are going to be taking up large areas of their home?

Isn't keeping any fish keeping them in prison? Maybe you should not keep fish at all and look form the outside of the box. Simple I think.
