In other words, these tanks are temporary prisons till the fish and turtle dies. Does your dad/parents know they are paying for these big tanks in the future and that they are going to be taking up large areas of their home?

no thats not what i mean at all, i mean that he can have these monster tanks later instead of now, he could probably do what i did and settle with a medium sized tank till he can have space for his own stuff...
