How old do you think I am? I'm 20 yrs old and a full time student, I go to college 15 mins away from my house. Right now my expenses are spent on school, fish, and partying. I think I have a few years left where "you live with your mom?!" starts turning into a wierd thing lol

And as for filtration I know ken knows what he's taking about so I'm going ask him for some ideas.

Yeah neither can I!!! At one point I use to have Peruvian monos, orinos, and 4 azuls. In one of my cousins ponds, but during one of our mild "winters" the pump died and so did every single one of my cichla and other fish did too. But as for right not I only have 7 cichla. And i'm saving my $$$ for some little guys to grow out. I'm interested In what rapps just brought in.

One 1/15hp Wave is not enough or do you have several but not pictured?. I suggest atleast 10x 900g = 9000gph for cichlas. It's just me.....some may suggest a little less which is probably okay.

So I got the tank cycled and started with the aqua scaping yesterday, not done with the scaping yet. Then I checked my water. Which really doesn't need to be check because I have prefect well water, but I do it to be sure anyways. And then I decided it was good enough to start putting in fish after a few hours... so tell me what you guys think..... sorry for the crappy pics, used an iphone.

Just curious how you managed to have tank temp up to where it needs to be and cycled so quickly where it was ready to throw all those fish in? A bucket of prime?
