The RN tem looks really unique. Are you not worried about the plecos scratching the acrylic? ANd like kendragon said....get that bad boy to atleast a 10x turnover rate. A glass filter from kendragon would work wonders on that tank.

Just curious how you managed to have tank temp up to where it needs to be and cycled so quickly where it was ready to throw all those fish in? A bucket of prime?

and also to regarding Bonesb66 question.

The sink that I have next to the tank has a water heater so I'm lucky enough where all I have to do is turn on the hot water and fill up a few buckets of hot water to regulate the temperature fast enough. And once it was about 81 I put a heater directly in the tank. Waited about an hour and turn it back on when thank was about 85, and started to put fish in I started with the plecos, because lets be honest I rather risk a pleco then any of my cichla lol and once I saw that they were fine and swim I proceeded with the flag tail and finally the cichla.

Thank you, and the plecos have enough drift wood so they will be fine. And I know I'm going to have to do more with filtration.
