My male is 7" and the female is about 4".
They will try again! No one is ever good their first time around haha :P
mine seem to be very into it lol, i bought them 1 and a half weeks before they did their spawn :) at only 2.5 inches i think its a good sign:) anyways i threw a white cup inside the tank with some cucumber to try and catch trumpet snails that i noticed doing a water change, she threw the cucumber out and made it her home :P the two are dancing around and doing all sorts of things so im guessing i have more eggs to come:)

great news those two that spawned 2 weeks ago did it again;) with even more eggs!!!!! i will put u pics when i get a chance:)

as i said here are some pictures :) i really hope they make it this time around :) 2nd time around they are alone in the tank :) there are lots of eggs on the cup itself but there is a lot more on the gravel :) the mother is usually in the cup but when someone comes near she comes out and flares her gills :) the male also swims around and when he senses something he also rushes to the eggs side and flares his gills

i know how you feel, my jags laid eggs not too long ago, and the feeling of seeing them hatch is even greater then the feeling you had when you first seen the eggs, i promise! :P

Here are the parents.
They really don't like having their picture taken!
