the Office living in the now...
Hello Monster Fish Keepers,

We wanted to share with you our very first Arowana:babyblack. I have not yet owned one until now. Yes this is our first time EVER. We are trying a community of blue arowana's. Yes that is right, a community. There is :babyblack:babyblack:babyblack:babyblack:babyblack of them. This was a pretty penny so we will do our best on raising these creatures and when it is time we will make the right decision and rehouse them in the proper tank(convincing her how happy they will be in a new tank):grinno:.

Maintenance is something I enjoy(my cod) doing so they will all get the proper water parameters with pristine water.

Right now, they are all in my 150g growout tank. Just in case there is too much aggression:nilly:, I have another 6'er ready with bio media loaded with bb from one of my other tanks with exact temperture and dividers if needed;).

We know what these creatures require and still am open minded to learn about these graceful creatures. I am enjoying every moment of these graceful swimming water beauties:hearts:. My wife has often twoken me up for bed cause I have been falling asleep watching hem from the floor:screwy:. :OMG:I love everything about these monsters.
Keep you all posted.

Fingers crossed.
Bomber

Congrats. Best of luck to ya.

Good luck to you! I know that was a pretty penny! Are your plans to just rehome them once their too big for the 150? Or do you have a larger tank?

Very nice, look forward to seeing their progres. Hope you have a camera so you can post lots of pics.

I plan on rehoming them in larger tanks yes. My widest tanks in my house are 2' and can house for as they age but I am working on a much wider tank.:D

Good luck bomber. I currently have 3 small silvers in my tank and they don't seem to like each other too much at this point.
