Good luck bomber. I currently have 3 small silvers in my tank and they don't seem to like each other too much at this point.
Thanks I will need it. They have all been eating very well off live (besides crickets) but seem not to like each other very well either. Very territorial already.

Yes we finally did it. Thanks.

I am debating wether or not I should seperate them or let them just work it out.....

Young aros have a tendency to be aggressive to others, usually ending in death. Best way Bomb, is to Seperate them get them to a good size & try again. I't wouldn't be a big deal if it were silvers, But Blkies for 200 a pop? no quantity discount? I wouldn't take any chance :)

i'm not so sure if you'd got a good deal or not for a group buy at that price. i know there's no in-or-out-of-season for blackies, but i didn't think it was that high, again, for the group buy. i only said it because you once said you work hard for your pretty pennies :) however, i'm sure that you and yours will be enjoying these aro's very much.

you've been doing plenty of researches here about aro's, and with your experience in this hobby in general, i think you know the do's and dont's with raising these beauties. good luck bud!

Understood.... I will grow these guys out then try again.

Good thing is I have the space and they are all eating well.

Here are some updates on the comm. Everyone seems to hold there ground except for 1 that gets bullied constantly so I removed him and removed the Alpha aro.

The others seem to hold there ground well so far. We will see what happens.

Here is the alpha male that eats the most and bullies everyone for their lunch, so he is now removed.

I am very new to arowana's but I am up for the challenge. If need be, I will have them all grow out a little bit before I reintroduce them on common ground so no body has owner ship of the grow out territory.

Well this is how I would approach the situation. Constructive criticism please, I am all ears.

On a positive note, they all eat like champs so I know with higher temps, they will heal fast.

What would be a good size before I should reintroduce them?:nilly:

i would think 10 to 12 inches should do it. i did the same thing you were doing with silvers..and it worked.i just had to seperate them until they were 10 to 12 inches...like it was too crowded to fight for territory..if that makes any sense.

congrats man...
