After much pondering over all the different snakes they had at the store, I decided to see what else they had. I saw a Gecko I just had to have. So I bought the Grandis Day Gecko PHELSUMA MADAGASCARIENSIS GRANDIS. I'll get some pics up later, but let me know what you think of my first choice. I'll probably still get the snake too.

I can't wait to see pics. Did you go to Leaping Lizards? I'm not quite sure on the care of a Day Gecko. I know that my Leopards are probably the easiest to care for.

Yeah I went to Leaping Lizards, it's a cool store. I just cleaned the glass, I'll get some pics when it dries out. I used fur and sphagnum peat moss for a substrate and beaked moss for some color. I am going to get some plants tomorrow, so any suggestions on plants would be great. Ate within an hour with my hand in the tank, I think that's a good sign.

:) Congrats ewurm! Although they arent recommended for beginers normally, they shouldnt be too hard. They arent recommended because their skin is extremely extremely delicate, and when handled they struggle to the point they can tear it.

But still, lets see pics of it and the setup! And good luck!

I live like a few blocks from Leaping Lizards. My gf hates it when I go there :( oh well.

I was advised by the store to keep handling to the minimum. I haven't touched the animal, and don't plan to.

That thing is beautiful!
