Very nice ewurm, a very beautiful day gecko. I too would not handle them. They can be quite shy so make sure they have some good hiding places. Some plants you can use are:
Bromeliads (Guzmania, Vrisea, Neoregelia, Achmea)
Dischidia (Ovata, bengeliansis)
Ferns (lemon button, maidenhair some others)
wondering jew
Ficus pumilia (many varieties available)
mother inlaws tongue (for the phelsuma)
begonia sp
some orchids (depending on size) ludisia do well in vivariums
Some types of tropical cactus rhips???
Moss (java ricicia)

Inch plant is good, quick grower (supposedly an inch a day ) is as cheap as anything. Nice white flowers too.
Some plants will look nice and be good natural cover.

I hope your tank top is secure, I guess they are known escape artists.

I have one of those painted wire mesh tops, and the UV light bar and my 9 watt CF light sit on top of it, so I think it should be way to heavy for the little lizard to lift.

...pigs might fly.

Maybe I'll move to Wisconsin and become a Packers Fan, a Democrat, and a hippie. Maybe I'll sell my loaches. Maybe I'll fly to Sumatra by flapping my arms and collect even more loaches.

MAYBE.......

Very nice wurm, I used to have a breeding pair of these guys. I really don't recommend handling them at all because their skin tears very easily. Plus they are quick and will leap out of your hand when you least expect it. I would add some fake plants to the enclosure to help him/her feel more secure.

I think I'm going to go with real plants. My plan for this specimen is basically look, but don't touch.

Here's some more ideas: I want to get a black background, and a small blacklight heat lamp. I need to raise the daytime temp by 4 deg F, it's only at 81. Thoughts?

Anybody have any other advice? I think I have the gist of keeping this animal, but nothing beats personal experience.
