I have had mine running a month, and done absolutly nothing to it. Have not added water or changed any media. I will let you know what mine looks like whne i do this week. Need to replace ball valves with gate valves, maybe thursday or next weekend. when i do that I will change my filter media, and of course big water change.
My water levels are staying spot one though, I am dripping at the slowest rate I can, and it is maintaining perfectly.
