you could try cold water or ice, i know it works for fiberglass. the cold makes your skin contract and supposedly push out sliver but i guess it might depend how big the sliver is

I GOT IT OUT.
I went to the training room at school last night and i found a syringe full of lytocaine.
i shot my thumb up. I performed what is called a digit block on myself.
Then i got some forceps and just went to town on my left thumb.
and i got it out.

Have you ever tried to inject yourself with lytocaine?
it hurts realy realy bad
there are so many nerves it sucks.
