I know I was thinking to myself, self this guy must be some sort of a genius to build such an amazing sump. then I thought self he does own The Marine so don't give him to much credit:ROFL:

 the marine is a good film matey (NOT) lol it was for the kids, well thats my excuse anyway

Anyway heres the pump that will be running this sump, I get the pipe work next week then were up and running, I had ordered a 500L but for some strange reason and im not complaining i got a 6500L........ HAPPY DAYS :headbang2

very well done

Cheers m8, going off topic for a sec, well sort of, just looked at your setup and do you ever have probs with water temp having your heater in the sump?, i plan on putting 3x 300W heaters into this sump so ya think i would have any probs keeping the temp up at all? ozpkchris, Nice setup btw

thanks

works great, lately i have had my temp at 82 and my house has been 76 and i never noticed a drop in the tank temp

the way it was explained to me was the water is constantly passing over the heater in the sump, so the unit actually comes in contact with more lower temp water.
i have a heater in my tank as well and i almost never see it turn on.

Not as yet m8, im waiting to go get the pipe work, ive been looking around for ages now and found a great shop local to me where i can get all the stuff i need very cheap :D at the moment i have 2x 60mm holes in the back of my tank and thats where all the pipes and wires off the externals are, it looks terrible but it works for now. I will have a vid of it up and running in a week or so :D

Just hoping it will beable to keep the temp up with the heaters in the sump ;)
