So at present, my basement is being designed as a fish room and is being based around varying species of FW Eels. I currently have the setup designed for 7 tanks, 1 huge tank and six large tanks, I want all of these tanks to have spiny Eels as the main ingredient to the tank! Currently fully planned are: Fire Eel tank, zig zag Eel (3' one, there seems to be confusion between this and the half banded Eel going around), TT Eel, peacock eels, half banded (or yellow tail zigzag depending on who you're talking to) and black spotted. I need 1 more FW Eel to be in the 7th tank, preferably with a way to get it as the ones I've named are the ones also most carried by my LFS!

I know it's not an eel but eel-like you could do several Dragon Gobies. I've had 3 at once and when feeding they will do a dance displaying for each other
I was also thinking of a bichir or a rope fish tank, but I like the look of that eel, standard care for Eels and tangayikan cichlids for water temp/parameters I'm guessing?
I think so. You can add bichirs and ropefish to an eel tank as long as the sizes make it so they can't eat each other
