Fire eel eating help.

I was told it was eating blood worms and krill.
Then try and see in a day or two if he would peak his head out and search for food during feeding times

I recall seeing someone with a suggestion on a topic like this. I haven't done it and I take no any opinion on it other than it beats letting the eel starve to death.

Find a narrow bottle (one opening just large enough for the eel to slip partly inside), place some food in it then place it near the eel. Supposedly, the eel will slip it's head in and eat, while the other fish will largely be unable (or unwilling) to do so.

I have a one inch PVC tube in the tank for it. If the eel is in it I can probably put a worm into his tube. But the eel is usually swimming everywhere and it's hard to target feed it then with everything else wanting it's food.

Wait 1 week or 2 and then offer some live worms from a bait shop (not garden if fertiliser or pesticides have ever been used) but once it starts eating keep trying lots of other foods, do not let it get fussy or stuck on live, they eat like pigs as soon as they get going but move stuff about in the tank and they can stop eating for a few days.

Thats true actually, thinking about it. I once had one go about a month before it took live bloodworm but then I mixed frozen and live and then bigger foods. Once they start they just cannot stop.
