Tank Size: Will 150 Gallon be good for life? (I ask because the max length of these guys gets rather long yet I see people have them in their 55 & 75s all the time).

Tank Mates: 1 Male GT, 1 Red Sev, School of Giant Danios...are there any glaring problems there?

Anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks for the link - no fire eel for me as I don't have a big enough tank. Need to think of something else now.

zig zag eel will be fine. i think they are the smallest spiny eel of the ones i know of. or get a TT like me. he's currently in a 100

I just purchased a 6 inch peacock and a 8 inch tire track. Peacocks are the smallest spiny eels that I know of. They can max out at about 12 inches. But, I agree that a tire track can work in a 100 gal tank. Mine is 125 gal.
