fire eel questions

my eel is about 7 yrs old right now he went from 4 inchs to about 15 inchs in about a yr or so after thaat it was very slow growin. i have mine in a smaller tank also but when i had to keep a veija bifactious for a friend it was a war all night long so the biffa didnt stay long. honestly a 125 might be a decent home considering the average kid will put it in a 20 gallon

i have not bought him yet haha i assume they are around 4 inches or so i think my only option of getting one is thro petco

i hope u dont get a picky one mine will only eat one brand of mysis shrimp and nothin else not even guppys

oh yea keep the tank well covered they will jump out of the smallest of holes and if you have a hob filter they will get in that also till they get big

a 125 will be fine for a year..

its sealed tight as is theres one spot for a heater cord... but the hole is maybe a half inch i just just tape that up im sure

I'd say it will most likely be fine for about 1.5, maybe 2 years in the 125.

that sounds good when he 17" make sure u have something on the hood so if u jumps he can't get out...

its pretty heavy glass? how much extra weight would i need i plan on just going to walmart and picking up a wieght that you would use ina gym like 5 - 10 pounds?
