fire eel with large aggressive cichlids

just a uqestion on if anyone has any success housing a fire eel (or tiretrack) with aggressive cichlid species such as jaguars, mayans, etc....they are juvies (around 3 inches) and have a very large tank (265)

bottom dwellers like cat fish and bichirs work well with cichlids, im sure eels would be fine too

I think the fire eel would appreciate some salt , I think I heard it shortens their lifespan in pure freshwater.

Fire eels are fw not bw..

As for the question it will depend on the type of cichlid..

Its all good i have one in with jags, SA small cichlids, Oscars, RTC, leperd cat and Dats. ill try and get a pic.

As long as it has some hiding space and it doesn't look like a worm meal to the cichlids, it should be fine.
