Fire eel?

Hey anyone wanna give some opinions on any diy frozen food, or what they feed theirs? Mines about 10 maybe 12 inches and he destroys bloodworms. Anything else work well? Don't wanna spend 2019393 dlars on bloodworms every other day lol

Feed earth worms, thats a much cheaper and more filling option. You can get them from ebay.

Also all fire eels love earthworms, mines never once tried market shrimp

be patient. When my fire eel was still that small he would only touch live earthworms. After persistently only presenting cut market prawn and tilapia, he finally took it and he grew so much faster. Eventually he ate everything and anything I threw in the tank....except for pellets

So should I just do bloodworms until he's bigger?
