Mine loves earth worms too, we get then from a worm farm at a good price. Last eel we had before this one. We made jello mixture it has fish, shrimp, pellets and vitamins in it. The smell was absolutely foul but the stingrays and eel definitely grew they were beefy. We stop after that first time and never made it again because it smelled so bad. You could try that.
