MY LITTLE WORLD
www.facebook.com
When I view embedded videos on websites, a small window would pop up stating, "Ca not create directshow player".

Now, what on EARTH does that mean??

I have never experienced this much problem with FireFox before, and I have plenty of plugins on my computer, so I don't know why this browser is unable to play videos.

:help2::1zhelp:

try looking for a direct show plugin for firefox... if not , then just use IE temporarily for
sites that require that plugin.

Download http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html and during the setup include 'Mozilla Plugin', VLC is a media player that includes just about all popular codecs and is safer than Microsoft Media Player.

Netscape is garbage, after it fell AOL has control of it and it uses Gecko but switches to Internet Explorer to render if Active content is there.

Vitaliy, that site gives me a whole bunch of links. Which one do I choose? lol

I'm very retarded when it comes to these things.
Click the first one (VideoLAN primary mirror [http]) on the page, its just different mirrors/locations to help spread the load and not limit it to one server.
