Just made me up a bunch of the shrimp/talapia/pellet/blackworms going to try out the rays on this tonight. Well let everybody know what my fish thought of them. It was pretty easy, but got it smelled like ***..... oh the things we do for our fish.
ok.....rays not so thrilled. Fish think it is the best stuff they have ever gotten in their life! ray's pounced then backed off. Thinking if this is the only thing offered for a week or so they will learn to love it! I call it a success.
i just put together my first batch. trial and error run.
1 pouch can gel 500mL of liquid, or 375mL of solids.
i don't know how it'll turn out, might be too much liquid on my first try.
mine is:
-2 cups (500mL) of water
-6 earthworms
-1 silverside
-2 handfuls of cichlid gold sinking pellets
on another note... make sure your blender lid fits properly....
i just had the very enjoyable experience of spraying myself and my kitchen with the above ingredients because the lid has 1 spot where it isn't a tight fit lol
if you can't laugh at your mistakes.... -_- haha

Nope, they just swam over it and didnt ever mess with it. I didnt feed them this morning, so Ill try it again tonight to see what they do.

1 Tilapia fillet and 5 shrimp
4 handfulls of favorite pellet food
8 earthworms
and hot water to match the amount (just under) the gel called for
gelled up nice... smells bad, wife hated the smell..lol
rays wont eat it, ghost shrimp nibble on it and I dropped a piece in my community tank and the fish loved it to... so, like I said, I didnt feed the rays this morning to see what they will do with it tonight
