firemouth and midas/red devils

First thing all fish do not act the same. At 1" should should be able too see the difference between a midas and a firemouth.

If they are jack dempseys, and you are able to upgrade to larger 4' foot tank the convicts and j/d would do well together. But you would need to upgrade in about 3 to 5 months depending on diffrent things, primarily size, but agrresion as well.
None of them have the spot I have circled in the picture.
They both have red lining on the dorsal fin. They have a blueish glitter on them. I don't want JD's, would they have red lining on the dorsal fin?

They are Jack dempseys..I got two for 3.00 dollars at least...I also have room in my appartment for my 30 gallon tall tank..I guess the back they go.

I have a red devil he is about 4 1/2" he is so bad i just took him out of the tank, he killed my pacu, tore up my oscar and beat the crap out of my red tail catfish. Time for him to go, anybody wanna trade something? or adopt him? Im in LI New York.
