exactly. When i´m hungry i go in a local bakery and buy some fresh bread.

Who are you Jesus?

And bk and McDonald's have healthy options like salads, fruit bowls, yogurt. The ignorance must be taking over ur brain like a wild fire. Some people don't have to have vision to see.

Tell me why i should eat something thats simply disgusting?
I don´t want pesticide vegetables. I don´t want analogous cheese. I don´t want beef from cows which have still the antibiotic needles sticking out of their skin.

Agreed.
Cheaper to pay the grocer now than the doctor later.
If you feed your body poison, you're basically committing slow suicide. Your arteries will be hardening prematurely, your teeth will rot out, your skin will collapse early. Compare that to the cost of a little grass-fed beef, some free range eggs and a heap of organic greens and the payoff is more than food snobbery, it's living a human life instead of becoming a wheel-chair bound blob who can't wipe its own behind.

I work in a hospital. Most of the people there are only there because they did not want to buy real food.

Count me out on the bread - gave that up a while ago. But I have not eaten fast food in a very long time. Just a glance at the ingredients makes me sick to my stomach. GMO, corn-fed, grain extract toxic fake food that I'd gladly pay to NOT eat is really all I see out there in McFood land lately. Even the "healthy" options you see are the "made in China" versions of the food they resemble. The greens have no magnesium, the cheese is just plastic, it's all just meant to resemble food so people will buy it.

So what exactly do you eat? The wheat in your bread is most likely grown from GMO seeds and was sprayed with the same pesticides as the vegetables. Must be one helluva garden you have to provide all of your food and even then almost all seeds that are sold now are GMO, someone who claims to work with genetics should know that.

Nothing there is healthy. The salads are full of pesticides. Same goes for the fruits. The yoghurt comes from the very same cows that suffer under inhumane treatment. Sorry, thats not my thing.

That thing here is one year old...you see almost no signs of decay. Its so pumped up with chemicals. Why would anyone want to eat something like that?!

GMO are banned in germany and most of europe. So what? Monsanto offers no altered seeds in germany simply because the market did not accept it there. The only GMO Mon 810 that we tried to bring on the market was not allowed. Also you can´t even bring out a single experimental field here with GMO plants. They always get destroyed. GMO is not the problem, bad fast food is. A GMO corn is in no way different in its incredients than any other corn. But you asked what i eat. I buy from local farmers. We have our own chickens. Farms here are way smaller than american ones. Evrything is much more personal. You would be surprised what difference you have in a german market. You get thousands of different kinds of bread alone. Some made from very very old wheat species like Dinkel.

He is speaking from a position of privilege! Most German towns have much easier access to specialty shops like butchers and bakeries than suburban areas in the United States. People in that country would have to almost go out of their way to get pesticide vegetables, process cheese, and rBGH and antibiotic treated animals. http://www.germanfoods.org/consumer/facts/eatinghabits.cfm

In the US, most restaurants and supermarkets charge triple, even quadruple, for non-garbage. There is even a website maintained by the US Department of Agriculture that tracks areas of the US where it is impossible to travel by bike or foot to get non-garbage. http://www.ers.usda.gov/data-products/food-desert-locator/go-to-the-locator.aspx Those areas are called FOOD DESERTS, so I hope the scorn and disgust get toned down now that I've added this info the conversation!
