Congrats on getting eggs! To get them to hatch I always cut off the egg bundle from the glass with a razor blade and then put them on top of a sponge in a tupperware container with it about an inch of water in it then put the lid on, place it in a warm place"Floating in the aquarium" or some where else and they will hatch in a few weeks keep checking they will hatch out and then crawl down the sponge in to the water then i dump them in the aquarium if there are no fish that is:} Ps: if you leave them under the light chances are they will dry out so much, the babys cant get out of the casing and will die or never hatch that has been my experience. Good luck

Realized from keeping a journal on them, that the blue ones seem to do their egg laying after being fed a few (canned) green beans. And the eggs were safe from others in the tank until they actually hatched. Time really seems to go by slowly while waiting for anything in a tank to be born or hatch!
