:headbang2
Lets hope so. He is an horny little devil :D

Thanks again for the kind words fellas... :D I appreciate them.

OK.... What's the deal on the claspers? Are they visible from day one? Hard to tell till older? Or did I just have an entire litter of females?

They appear to allready be nibbling on shrimp. They look like they're eating it but I can't be 100%. :nilly:

So cute, congrats!

I seem to allways have more females than males when my rays have pups. About 75% female and 25% male. It's sometimes hard to see the claspers if they clamp thier back fins together when they climb the tank.

Here you guys go..... Sorry it took so long.... :screwy:

Lil fellers are a little over 4 inches across. Can't be 100% for sure but it appears they've allready began eating chopped crawlers.

Sex is unknown at this time.... I do know I have not seen ANY claspers yet.... :nilly:

Now the question is can a 8 inch mature male impregnate the 17in mom???? She's still in isolation. Thinking of putting a really purdy mature lil male in with her but don't want him to get mauled....

Hopefully things pick up, may have 3 more batches by Christmas :WHOA:

Great looking pups! Glad to hear they are eating. Did you try the male with her? I bet if she is willing and he is mature, he will mate with her.

If you have any males, you will be able to see claspers as soon as they are born.

Guess I spoke too soon. Just watched one of them take it's last breath... I see a couple doing really well and just ASSumed they were all doing well.

Rather have no babies then dead ones. This is just wayyyy beyond sucking.

Absolutely speachless.

Thoughts on having guppies in with the pups??? Past tense of course. They are all residing in the bellies of Dorado now. I thought maybe they would prove to be good snacks. They were in the 40 when I drained it, got down to the last lil bit of water and I just left them. They'd been in house a while, I figured I'd just leave them in there to clean up uneaten blood worms..... Maybe I really "F" ed up.......

shoot.. sry to hear

small amounts of salt always help w pups

are the others doin good?

i doubt it has anything to do w the guppies
