First batch of pups

Pups are supposed to be a pleasent experience. They have been anything but pleasent for me. The whole experience of baby rays has been nothing but a sickening nightmare.

I think it's the WCs. Both the pups that died were day after large WCs. My water must be crap to start the a huge change/fluctuation does them in. Gonna have to figure out a drip for the future. Just too many rays, too much food, not enough water volume too big of WCs.......

The mom miscarried the first time, then this..... Obviously I have a lot to learn.... This is happening cause I am not ready.... Have a lot to learn and am just overwhelmed with new Characins, new rays, more new characins then pups on top of all of it..... Poor planning, poor water, poor choices.

I guess just do as the saying goes, fall down twice, get up 3 times.......

I don't think they were.... I saw a couple eat and assumed they all were. My girl has time to pay attention to them, me not so much. She says there has only been 2 eating.....

let me know what you come up with as i have been trying to figure that one out myself. i have a drip on my tanks upstairs but not sure how to do it on a pond with cinder block walls.

I have faith that you will get this figured out. You have no choice because you are on the edge of launching the midwest marble factory. Once they start producing for you look out.
 
post up some pics of your pond walls so we can figure out how to put in a drain for a drip.

u have any cold water lines running by the pond any where to tap into?
