So my fish were shipped from Texas yesterday morning and hopefully I have them tomorrow. I'm going to set up a second breeding bucket

Just set up both buckets. Going to the LFS tomorrow to get some Betta containers and maybe another tank.
Got my fish today and they are STUNNING, the color may be a little stressed from shipping though. I have these guys all set up, the males are in their buckets and the females together in a tank. I hope to breed them within 2 weeks if all goes well.

So I noticed the black/white female is ready to breed,due to the fact she has breeding lines. I put her in a glass container in the black/white males bucket so they can see each other and hopefully the male will make a buddy nest. The blue male is very stressed out as well as the black/white male. The blue female is doing very good and is already eating.
I have a veiltail in one bucket and my blue half-moon in the other.Whichever one builds a bubble nest first will get the female that is ready to breed.
Oh I'm pretty sure if you breed a veil tail and hmpk together
A large majority of the fries will turn out to have long tails instead of being hmpk's but yeah should add some pics too I wanna see your pairs XD

So in bucket number 1 I have a Red male veil tail and a white/black half-moon. And in bucket number 2 I have the blue plakat half-moon pair. Both males have already built bubble nests. I'm getting excited. I will get pictures later.
So both females are kind of laying on the bottom of the bucket...I'm not sure if they layed the eggs or not....
