First cars

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My first car was a 1997 Oldsmobile delta 88 Ls. Equipped with the venerable 3.8lv6 and the dismal 4t65 trans. It was rad, bench seats, tapedeck with life after death my none other than biggie smalls stuck in the head unit. Gas was like $4 in 2007. It was a slick ride, then I hit a deer amd shortly after broke a rod while showing off. I know I know....

Now my daily is a 99 Honda Accord, and a 2004 gmc 1/2 ton van. Plus the wife's 2011 impala.

Mine was an '85 sunbird but it was a hatchback so at least I had plenty of room for fishing poles.

My first car is still a 93' Dodge Intrepid. Not the best looking car, but its fast for its age and what type of car it is, and cheap as it gets to fix. Fishy Idk what you have for a budget, but if you can i'd definitely try for something thats good on gas and is easy on the wallet to have fixed, so it sounds like you're on the right track

1994 Nissan Stanza. parents and older brother helped me buy this for college.

it was a piece of heaping, stinky, pile of crap. ended up paying more money fixing future problems than what I paid for the whole thing in the first place. gosh darn piece of @#&%!!

completely turned me off Nissan. which probably isn't fair for Nissan but whatever....

A 1966 Chevy P/U that I pent 3 years, with my grandpa, rebuilding from the ground up. Will never stop regretting getting rid of it. What I sold it for in perfect shape will not buy you one that is pile of rust now.

My dad had almost the same first car as you oddball. His was a 70 Mach I Fastback. He says he'd have kept it until today but a cop rammed it during a high speed chase and sent it into my dad's house!

My parents GAVE AWAY my 'stang when I joined the Navy. I guess they thought I'd never see land again.
