First filter

Heres some photos of my filter. It looks a bit bodgie brothers but it’ll do for a first.

Do I put anything in the bottom tray? The water doesn’t go through it like the first three.

Are the scubbies alright above the water line?

Any helpful hints welcome.

And I changed the inlet to stop it from instantly filtering the floating fish food. I dropped it down 6 inches and made it a dual inlet. Better?

nice diy. great job on it. I have always wanted to do something like this, but I'm not good with "hands-on" stuff.

Yeah it is loud, i'll have to make a lid to dampen it sometime.
