thanks. You would be suprised how easy it is, you only need some glue, a saw, a drill and a plan.

thats a great filter, such a simple but great design. I will absolutely be using this design when i get my next tank!
 
I see a problem with how youve modified your overflow, whats stopping it from flooding your sump when power fails? Looks like a decent amount of water above where you have the two inlets..

Noticed the same thing. Unless there are some holes near the water line to break the siphon it could lead to problem.s

yep this one... I drilled two holes at the connection at the top. Sounds like it is drawing air but it still flows well after 3 days. I couldn’t find a valve to remove any build up (of air) at the height of the overflow. If I have to make one whats the best way???
