13 when I started working at the LGC (Local Golf Club). Started out driving the Driving Range Sweeper, and with in a month I was the head cart boy. Looking back on it I'm surprised that had that title.
Age 6-12: Selling strawberries from my family's farm
Age 13: Cutting broccoli
Age 14-19: Moving irrigation pipe, driving tractor
Age 20-25: Plumbing
Age 26-30: ESL Teacher's Assistant (worked one summer at my favorite LFS)
Age 31-36: School Teacher
I worked every summer of my life until I was an adult - Now I work all year to get my summers off!
I don't know, maybe 8 or 9 when I helped out at my dad's (tiny) restaurant by taking orders for like an hour or two. It was nothing official, but it made me feel important. I did get tons of tips though.
