What species of wolf fish would you recomend? A website sells red wolf fish and common wolf fish, but they are both common.

More aggressive=less tank mates like dither. You could always go with like a Midas or a Texas. They get large, are pretty darn aggressive, and would enjoy stretching their fins in a 125g. Not particularly rare or anything though.

Name a species a south american cichlid, besides oscars.

What about Tor Putitora?

Red Devil? Texas? Black Nasty? Trimac?

What about Tor Putitora?

Uhm...you wanted something aggressive. Tor are carp.

My texas is a freaking Butt hole. He is 5" and punks my 8" Oscar, I have seen him dang near put the Oscar out of the tank. He was cool as can be him and the Oscar where best friends, then one day one of them turned on the other and its been on like donky kong.

Aggressive him or my Oscar bit the head off my wifes silver tail.

Start up a native tank with NA sunfish and/or a bowfin-perfect fit... Although some say a bow nees like a 300, but mine seems to enjoy the temp 90 he's in. But don't mix sun's and a bow... either or.

But if you insist on heating the tank, look at some of the more common SA cichlid's as they need the bigger 125. So far the most aggressive fish I've kept has been a green sunfish-mine hates everything and everybody....Still trying too figure out what it likes to eat...
