Great Looking set up, Nice 1

So I have been keeping busy working a few hours here and there to get this project finished. Well I have like 6 more things to check off before I cycle this tank. Here are some photos of what I have been working on.

My water changing system, inspired by Pharaoh, Chompers, and many others. Here is my sump design as well. Been in the hobby for along time and finally going to house monsters. This job was tough when I had to use a hole saw to drill through my subfloor, frame ( 2x 2x4's ) to the house, stay between the 4" dry wall. I have never worked on any plumb work before and I am not afraid to learn anything. However, after the cpvc cement was dry, I was nervous when I had to turn the water pressur back on. THANK GOD, NO LEAKS :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

This is behind my 72x24x30. I tapped into my main water line. I still need to add a pressure regulator and a carbon filter. 1" drain and 1/2" water spigot.

Underneath my tank happens tobe a sump, lucky me.

For my 48x24x30, I did the same but I was not so lucky since the drain was like 25' away.

I had to stay above the duct work for one day I will finish this basement.

Tapped into the humidifier drain :naughty:.

This is my sump design. That hole is the over flow that flows to the drain. Filtered water will drip constently in the return section and then the water line reaches the overflow, thats how this project is going to change my water:grinno::grinno::grinno::grinno::grinno::grinno:. So hopefully, this all works out.

All comments welcome.

Thank you. I will keep yall posted. IRL not many of my friends are into water monsters. Thank God for MFK's.:popcorn:

Wolf fish=hoplias malabaricus which are completely legal in almost every state other than california. Go do some research on the hoplias family and type in aimara.

Wolf fish are legal in CA too.

Let me comment individually;

That stand is absolutely gorgeous!

The plumbing job was fantastic. Looks super professional.

Sump design looks good as well.
