First post - new custom build

Hi all,

Delivery of the tank and stand are scheduled for tomorrow between 9 and 4. The movers will be here @ 4.

So, hopefully it all won't be in the parking lot all day..

Hopefully 24 hours from now it will all be inside the house!

cant wait to see how this turns out,
didnt know they had a custom tank builder in toms river nj,thats just 45 minutes away from me.can get them to build me one and i could just pick it up.
 
this is gonna be such a sweet setup, it already looks awesome empty!!

Yes, the crating and shipping was the price of a very nice tank so pickup is a great option.

I think they did a great job (sight unseen obviously) and I can't wait to see it and get it in the house.

Hi and thanks! I agree it does look nice even empty! Appreciate the comments!

I will keep you posted with pics as things develop which is more fun than listening to me....

Leak and filter test this weekend and hopefully mount the light fixture on the light bar...Got my PAR meter back from on loan so I can adjust the lights accurately.

I hope that the eventual scape and look will be pleasing to you all.

I expect it to be ready around the end of August or so. I need time for the substrate to cycle via the DSM and time for the plants to grow and expand.

Hi all,

Delivery showed up with the tank but no stand, so I refused the delivery... Broke my heart a little :)

Carrier is looking for the other pallet with the stand. I called the movers and while they were annoyed, nothing I can do about it. I will resched as soon as I hear from the carrier.

So, maybe tomorrow or Monday at the latest I hope.
 
Thanks much! I left a msg with the carrier so expect a call in the morning...

The other pallet was still in the nose of the original trailer....

All is rescheduled for next Monday afternoon.

A bit disappointed I will miss the weekend to work on it..
