Up The Block
Just dropping lines to say whats up. New to the hobby. I've ghosted the site for awhile mainly looking at pics and so forth.

I have a 100 gallon tank that is home to a 4-5 inch female Dovii, plus two small 2 inch dovii and a big pleco.

I have a 125 gallon tank that is home to flower horn the size of a half dollar and a pictus cat.

And lastly I have a small ten gallon tank that is home to 2 chinese butterfly loaches. And one chinese algae eater.

Anyway thats it.

Thanks for the welcome, I appreciate it. I am actually hoping one of the two small dovii is a male, we'll see though. Thanks again.

Welcome to the site. Post some pics of your tanks :)

I've got a Butterfly Loach in my 35 gallon. I am in the process of getting more.

Yeah I'll post some pics up soon. As far as the Butterfly loach, I never seen them before or even heard of them. I needed some aquarium salt and walked by the tanks and seen them there I thought they looked like tiny sting rays or maybe small skates so I got two lol. Thanks for the welcome.

:welcome: to MFK!

If by butterfly loaches, you meant the hillstream loaches, there are dozens of species that do exist. These fish in general prefer fast flowing and cold water. An ideal temperature for them would be 68-76 degrees Fahrenheit and they must be kept in river specialist tanks in order to thrive properly.

Welcome to MFK!
