ok i have been way busy so i havent been able to post much. the silicone is all dried i thnk. i have had it face down for about 6 days. tipped the tank back upright and i believe i am ready to fill it up. before i do i need to make some cross braces for the top and rack up the nerve to put the hose in it lol.. does anyone have any doupts that this thing possibly may not hold the pressure?

Excited for you bro I might have to drop by on my way back from Wyoming to check it out.

All you can do is watch and listen as you fill it up. If it looks or sounds like it's not going to make it, stop and work on external bracing. There is no middle ground here when it comes to tanks like this. It is either absolutely strong enough for the water pressure or it isn't. You don't want something that holds the water but if you added another 50G the walls would blow out. Good luck and video would be great! I cant recall a fail ever getting caught on video here! But really...I hope it does fine with no leaks!

i have seen plenty of tanks 400-800 gallons built the same way with only 1 inch ply and screws every 2 inches so im THINKING/HOPING that it should be strong enough but the only way to tell is to fill her up i guess.. im not having the best run of luck this week so im going to hold off until my next weekend just to be on the safe side lol. do i need to use a full piece of plywood for the top then cut out the 3 holes? or can i use 2 2x6 and just screw them in from the front and back? i wouldnt think the screws would pull out but whats your guys opinions
