I actually prefer the side inflate BC. I have both styles, and never use my backback style. All of my gear is Dacor. I love it.... fins, regs, BC, mask etc.... Ok, well, my wesuits are all Body Glove. I've abused the crap out of them and they take it well. Pinnicle is another solid brand for a good dive wetsuit.

I agree about the BC. Back inflating BC's have more options for heavy lift, doubles setups, et cetera, but for rec diving with single tanks vest-style BC's are the better choice. On the surface back-inflating BC's can be very difficult to maintain proper orientation as well.

Another good wetsuit is Excel. You pay a little more, but I think they're worth it. Made in Hawaii!
