Might be a bit shallow for a snowflake, and it would be kinda hard to see in a top down viewing set up.

For the price, look into something like this instead (more volume, less $$):

To add a filter to that, you could just run the pipe up over the edges or tap in a bulkhead in the side.

Dude, hit up craigstlist. For the smaller tanks(<150 gallons) you can find some killer deals, complete with all the accessories. Where are you located?

Snowflake eels are cool, and abundant.

uh, a tank that large is too heavy and cumbersome. My room is on the second floor of my house. Since that is the only place that I can keep it I think that a plastic tub is the way to go. It cannot be too big or I would never get it up the stairs.

I calculated the price of everything eel included and it is going to cost me roughly $1073. I make slightly under a thousand a month but I only work during the summer due to my school schedule. I also work for my dad so I could probably have it by next august if I work hard enough.
