you are correct, every crooked hat, affliction wearing idiot has a star tattoo somewhere on them it seems. it's like a right of passage into the douchebag fraternity.
 
Get a tattoo that symbolize where you are in life right now e.g a japanese style tat.
I got my tattoos when I was 20, and they reflects the person I were when I was in that age. If I would get new ones today I would probably choose different motives or styles.

Yeah, I still have a lot of thought to give it, I really don't want to rush into anyting. Right now I am still trying to find a reputable artist somewheres in my general area....but I have a feeling I will have to venture out of state. I don't want to get a tattoo with no meaning, becasue that is just plain stupidity. I want it thought out and very indeed what I am right now. Something of what I am all about...and fish/reptiles fit this. So, it will be a tattoo with some form of hose incorperated. The whole "swallow, nautical star" idea...not gunna happen. I try not to portray myself as a "punk-ass gang banger". It needs more thought is all I am saying and that it will incorporate my love of animals, and japanese art/culture.

The swallows and stars comment was sarcasm, meaning everybody has those and koi tattoos. Not very original in my opinion. I think the more original and thought out one is, the better.
 
I still have a few months of thought, so I may change the whole concept. Does anyone have any pics of their tats, I would love to see.
