i also dont think he was being flammed. it's just that a lot of people on this site really hate when people neglect fish. and when you said i have never done a WC before, and that you kept pbass (a pretty advanced level of fish) it just sounded like you were one of those people who keep large fish just for the shock value of showing your friends your fish eating mice and crap like that.

sorry bud but you have p-bass in a sixty gallon and you dont know how to do a water change.thats not a good combination.

people like animals on this site. im not saying you take horrible care of your fish but it could alot better.
 
dont forget to wash any filter media out in tank water not tap water as tap water kills of all the goodness of the filter media.clean in a bucket of tank water not in the tank itsself.
 
Excellent choice in fish :D Now hold on to your wallet cause here shortly you'll be buying HUGE tanks :D And going down to the local lake to catch the daily fish food ;) I hold BBQ's everyweek :D and Charge large African cichlids for to come so I can feed my Peas :D J/K but it's almost there LOL

And personally I think you got lucky that no one Flamed you:) Sometimes it gets really bad here :) But you seemed to have got right past that without any Real rude coments.. At least none I could see here in this thread :)
