fish alive in a filter

I once had an adult lace gourami that got built into a rock pile after redecorating. The water was cloudy for several days afterwards so i didn´t miss the fish straight away. After 3 months I redecorated again and then saw the gourami swimming around in the tank :WHOA:. It had been pinned between the glass and a rock by the base of it´s tail. The tail was bent but was straight again after a couple of months!

one LFS here has circular tubes that go into circular holes in the back of the tank, leading to the sump. the tube doesnt fit perfectly into the hole, and the Kuhli Loaches hide in the 2'' space it leaves. Im so pissed at them for selling ID Sharks that i want to ask the manager to net one and after 10 mins of fighting with it, complain that its too stressed out and i dont want it. i guess they could turn off the filter and flush the loach into the sump

I found a slightly grown electric yellow mbuna thriving in my fx5. He wasn't that big when he went in. I don't check my filter for months at a time.

I have found a total of 4 fish in my Fx5, all alive and well.

the fx5 must be a nice place to live then. i cant say my poly looked any skinnier either oddly enough. i would imagine after a month of no food, he should have lost some weight.

he's thankfully back to normal, swimming some, and not breathing as hard. :)

Hmmm never happens to me as when my fish is caught in the propeller usually slices them up and kills them....

i had that mess happen in an xp1 2 years ago with a large dojo loach. that was extremely..... :barf: disgusting.....to say the least

My 16" Fire eel used to hang out in my AC110, he would hide up there then come back to the tank randomly. I blocked it off so he couldn't get up there anymore and within a couple days he jumped from the tank altogether :(

He was unhappy with the aquascaping so he was determined to re-locate.

I hate jumpers! It's never the less expensive fish; always the costly specimens:cry:.
