Many years ago a had a small black shark in an aquarium filtered by an undergravel filter. One day while cleaning, I removed one of the riser tubes for the filter. I didnt' see it happen, but the shark swam under the filter plate. Later that day I noticed the fish was missing and couldn't figure out where it went. A few weeks passed and I had removed the riser tubes again. Out pops the shark, a little thin.
i have stored a SA bumble catfish in moist gravel for 3 days, till i realized he was missing and found him in a bucket of gravel in my fish room
My Dad has found Goldfish fry and eggs in the filter pads. Apparently they hatched there and were feeding on the pads as well.
only on MFK can we keep fish alive in a damn filter, longer than some people can keep them alive in a real tank
