Not at all, man.

That's awesome! What kind, product or transportation? I always admire the draftsmanship of artist w/ id backgrounds. Do you have a portfolio up? I went to school at Laguna College of Art and Design.

And thanks everyone for all the compliments! I wasn't expecting so much feedback, it's very exciting.

I checked the prices on the site and they are very very reasonable. If you can produce some work with Polypterus bichir bichir, in a natural setting, and maybe one in a black and white like the arapaima, I would love to purchase them to hang in my fish room.

Would also be interested in a painting of Polypterus senegalus albino, with a black background. Peacock bass with orinocensis like gangster suggested would be awesome!

I orginally wanted to do transportation but soon realised my school focused more on product design. I took advantage of everything i could get my hands on and focused myself on actually building things that were "real" and not just mock ups or concepts. I now run my own fab shop in ohio and i do welding/metal fab and sculpture, woodworking, cnc work, 3d modeling in solidworks, airbrushing, acrylic work and tank building :). I love having the ability to do something different every day, keeps it interesting. Hand skills were always by far my favorite and these days they are a dying art.

I'm currently working out a list of new paintings to do with Peacocks and a couple other cichlids being on top. But afterwards I can definitely do some Bichirs. Don't know too much about these fish so I'll have to do some research and gather some images. They're very cool looking, I have a friend that has a tank full.

Anywho, I'll keep you guys posted with the new pieces.

That's awesome man! I'm actually terrible at building things hahaha. Wish it was a skill I had!

I'll check out more of your threads, but from what I saw, you have a SICK basement! Super cool that you can manage that many tanks. :)
