Fish as Gifts

i got a betta as a present when i was a kid and got my 29 about 5 years ago as a xmas present and now i'm hooked again and i gave my mom a 10 and some guppies for xmas this year

I get fish equip or money to pay for fish.

But the only fish im likely to ever receive from someone is a $1 gold fish anyway. So I prefer a gift voucher or somthing.

Nahh, my crazy family never gives fish or fish related gifts.

My wife's christmas this year: 125g tank, stand, canopy, filter, heaters, 100lbs gravel, 3 tinfoil barbs, 2 silver arro's, and a gold severum in a pear tree.

No, I don't want to adopt any more kids and one wife is enough.

I have recieved the occasional fish but only from people have known which one I wanted. Just before one birthday I went to buy the last SA leaffish my favorite lfs had on hand, only to find it marked sold. I was dissapointed. On my birthday a very lovely lady friend showed up with it, a pair of skunk corys, and a ten gallon setup complete with plants, to keep them in. She was a very loving friend.
On the whole though I prefer gift certificates for an lfs, like books, I prefer to choose my own.

I normally recieve money so that I can pick which fish I want myself as my LFS dosent sell vouchers.

No, I ask for tanks, then buy my own fish.

i got a stingray belt for xmas! i wasnt very impressed but its actually really nice and call me a hypocrite but im going to wear it as often as i can
