Anyone else got anything to add to this that will help with what I am trying to say?

Dr. Joe, please look over what I did today and now what do you think?

Just add bio-spira and a old filter, i always buy a filter and put it on a old tank that has 3 filter on it already so when I do buy a new tank, it helps alot!!! :grinno: :grinno: :grinno: :grinno:

Yea, yea. I think we are starting to get to what I am getting at. How much faster it is to cycle a tank with something from an established tank. Having an "extra" set of bacteria on a well set up tank will speed up the process when it is time to cycle a new tank.

firstly, kudo's for getting a grip on calculus.

But to me there are to many variables to work it out accurately...

How old are you? should you be surfing the net for porn, instead of posting calculus on a fish forum ;)

I gotta tell an engineering story...(hey, nerds are nerds) There are two engineering students. One rides up to the other on a shiny new bike. The other engineering student says "hey nice bike. Where did you get it?" The other student says, "well I was walking by the business building and a hot business major threw down her bike, took off all of her clothes and said "take what you want". The other engineering student said, "Good choice, the clothes probably would not have fit."

Which is why I am still single...
