Nothing is more Festive and/ or Appetizing than a dead fish floating in a jar during dinner of one of the most important days of your life!

Make sure the dead fish thing doesn't happen. How about having 1 tank with wedding deco inside? That would add the fish element but dispense with the death.

i recently got married and did a very simalir thing. i used gouarmis of differnt colors as they can breath from the surface. not only did everyone think they were beutiful we didn't lose a single one over two days. and they are all mostly still alive one year later.

i would use the gouramis too pretty fish and calm also the import of bettas is cruel they usally are sick from being kept in jars as for the gouramis they come out of a tank and i'm sure the lfs will take em back when your done..

Id have them consider using a prettier fish.

Plus it depends where you bought the goldfish, Ive bought them at Petcos an at smaller LFS's. Certain places take awesome care of feeders an others dont, so your Hit or miss with them. Ive had batchs of feeders that half died after I got them home to my 10 gal, an others where all lived.

they could be dieing because the tank isnt cycled, Ive kept up to 50 feeders in a 10 gal with only a heater an sponge filter an had very few losses.

They may as well just go and get bettas for those vases....Goldfish DO NOT BELONG IN A SMALL CONTAINER.....

Whats the matter with your friends?

Jen ;)
I agree with the bettas. I'm getting married in June, and it sounds like a pretty cool idea, and let someone at each table take one home and get them started in the fishkeeping hobby! :o)
